In March 2010, a group of nine high school students (and three chaperones) embarked on a ten-day volunteer project to Guatemala. We traverlled with the Canadian charitable organization, Developing World Connections. DWC sends volunteers to numerous countries around the world to help those in need. We promoted literacy by providing children with an opportunity to learn how to read and write. Also, we were involved in refurbishing dilapidated buildings.

We had a booth at Sa-Hali’s first annual Open House.

We made tons of posters (that were really good I might add..) for the next two fundraising events: milkshakes and candy grams!
